Camilla and her bouquet

It was a pleasant and unexpected surprise to see one of our bouquet in the hands of a … Duchess!

When Charles and Camilla arrived in Florence for a private visit – as far as possible for two of the members of British royal family! – strolled between Ponte Santa Trinita and Ponte Vecchio, leaving photographed by tourists in search of gossip, the city was in the hands of a G7 but we were already struggling with a bouquet that had been requested by the “Progetto Arcobaleno” Association.

They weren’t told us who should receive it, it had to be a special bouquet, leaving us the task of choosing the right flowers.

So we thought at the Tuscan spring, at the refined elegance of the Florentine ladies, in shades such as white, lilac, pale pink as sunsets of Florence and the green of flowering rosemary.

The next day we saw her, Camilla – Duchess of Cornwall – visiting the Association, in the heart of the Oltrarno quarter, with our bouquet in her hand!

It was great, receive phone calls from people asking us “Camilla’s bouquet is done by Fiorile”, it was nice to see Fiorile in photographs of the newspapers and on the web!

Thanks a lot Camilla, see you soon in Florence!
